About K. Crumley

K. Crumley began writing when she was a student of Classical Ballet
at Pittsburgh's Point Park College (now Point Park University).
Through a series of personal trials and a religious reckoning,
she hung up her pointe shoes and began writing fantasy fiction and poetry.

Her earliest endeavors were children's stories, humurous articles and re-worked fairy tales
such as The Apple of Her Eye, which was originally published in Woodworks E-Zine in 2003.
It also appears in Facets Volume 1.

When asked why she chose the anthology Facets, Volume 1 as
her first published project she explained "So many people ask me 'what kind of stories do you write'
and rather than a long explaination, I thought I'd answer that with a book.
A sampler of different stories..."

In addition to rewriting the children's story The Golden Rose,
she's currently finishing up the long awaited crossover novel Wishful Thinking
and reviving a long-term pet project Prophecies of Fire.

Ms. Crumley is also a member and moderator of the Elfwood Gallery & Library.
Plus, she is a high-ranking security officer at a highly classified engineering & industrial facility.
